Your character looks young but still a little "worn". On the small picture he seems a little arrogant, while on the large version it's more a hint of disgust. The picture shows character, and I quite like it.

Certainly stands out, despite the frown and eye patch. You do not see that many male avatars go full-blown red head.

Actually pulled off the natural ginger look fairly well, which is not the norm. Shoulder tilt looks a little awkward in my opinion, though.
